windows media player wont open at all. I soft reset it but it does the same thing?????

what does it do? give an error? nothing? are you clicking the shortcut to the medis player or the player itself?

it just didnt do anything..... i fixed it. I had to hard reset it and re-install all of my programs which sucked

I had the same problem yesterday. Had to hard reset also.

I agree. I had the problem and tried all the proposed cures -- and finally had to do a hard reset, which fixed it. I learned that I should keep a system backup on ROM to eliminate all the re-installs and other work after the reset -- which I've now done. Any hard reset now, and I'm back on the air within minutes.:)
