Question Anyone using Korean Language on the Axim????

Hello,

Is there anyone using (capable of writing and reading) Korean language on your WinCE, I would like to have a quick comment on how you are going about doing it.

I am a currently a PalmOS user and would like to switch to WinCE but so far I am not successful on finding any WinCE program that let's me write and read Korean language on WinCE platform.

Thank you,

Cool Try the DioPen

Try the DioPen..
The DioPen is the most popular Korean IME in PPC..

Company URL is..
http://www.diotek.co.kr/

The latest version is 5.0 at this time..

Also, there is a small Korean Axim User Group..

DioPen is a great Korean IME. I've been using it for a while. It had a couple of compatibility issues with other input methods (Calligrapher won't run, for example).

Also, be careful with your backup files.

I had to do a hard-reset once and I had DioPen installed on my Axim. For some reason, installing DioPen changed time-zone to something else (it showed correct EST however). After the hard-reset, ActiveSync wouldn't allow me to restore from my backup file because of the time-zone difference. I had to install DioPen on my Axim to do the restore. After this happened, I stopped using DioPen.

Also, version 5.0 is pretty working fine..

Thank you very much everyone,

Especially tooki for the great Korean Axim site.

And hesse, yes, I have noticed the time zone change on my Axim as well. It is kinda anoying.

Actually, I have been testing the DioPen for awhile and it seems to be working just fine but I am new to the PPC since I am coming from over 7 years of Palm usage and still in the testing phase for the PPC at this time.

I would appreciate your experience with using PPC.

Once again thank you,

David Kim
