How do you turn off(shutdown) my Axim?

Hit the top center button above the screen.

Am I missing something here? How did you turn it on besides placing it in a cradle?

To complete shutdown your PPC, you might want to try the following application:

This application can also soft reset your PPC. It is a shareware, but for $1.50 it is sure not that bad. You might be able to find a freeware out there.
