Settings menu problem

Ever since I did a hard reset about one month ago, I have been having problems with my settings menu. If I turn off my axim for a period of time (6-7 hours?), when I turn it back on half of the icons in the settings menu don't work. When i click on them, nothing happens. The other half of the icons are not visible at all. The only way to get them to show up again is to do a soft reset. This gets annoying once or twice a day. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any help would be appreciated.

Backup your data and try performaing a hard-reset. If this doesn't solve the problem, contact Dell.. But I am pretty sure that you have some kind of software issue which can easily solved by hard-reset...
