Adding "soft reset" icon to the "desktop/today screen"?
Hi,

I am trying to move away from battery pack pro on my X50v. The two most useful things i use from that program is the small "soft reset" button on the desktop, & also the "red x" on the top right to be used for closing programs.

I am in the middle of trying both SPB pocket plus & Wisbar to see what I like better.

Neither seems to have the soft reset button, but pocket plus looks to maybe have that ability if I look at it.

Anyway, is there a way without extra software to add a soft reset button like Battery Pack has?

Thanks,
Rich

You can get TDLauncher and add the soft reset button to the bar created by the program. It is funny that I moved from SBP Pocket Plus and Wisbar to go to Battery pack pro as the other two were constantly freezing my PPC. Since the move I have no problem at all.

coming from the palm camp, i think its funny to see people looking for the best program with a soft reset button within easy reach. in the palm world, resets are rare unless you install a buggy program

try this

http://ppcsoft.narod.ru/english/

or this simple reset file.

Found here: http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/PowerToys/

There is only a single download package, but you can selectively remove the stuff you don't want.
