Your fav text input method?

I'm a very speedy touch typist and after playing around with my new x50v this morning, I'm feeling very frustrated at how slowly I'm able to input text. I had a quick go at the soft keyboard, letter recognizer and transcriber....I know I'll get faster if I stick at it but what do you find to be your fav method of inputing text as far as speed and convenience go?

Speedwise I type really really fast, so no matter what they're all very slow to me!

I use the soft keyboard mostly.

I will use transriber most of the time. When filling in forms I use block recognizer to make sure the information is entered correctly. Especialy when completing a password.

SIP keyboard, most of the time. Transciber is neat, but a lot slower, and less accurate. For any extensive input I dig out the BT keyboard...

Block recognizer because I was previously a Palm user for many years. For passwords etc, I sometimes use the soft keyboard.

I intend to try out the transcriber -- looks really interesting.

I use the Tengo keyboard. Quick and easy to learn since it's still Qwerty style, and fast.

Hmmm on the Tengo keyboard.....looks interesting. Curious to know how often it gets it wrong? Once I get my machine connecting with the laptop, I'll try it out. Thanks everyone.

I'm going to give this one a go....did you install it to main memory or SD/BuiltIn? Just wondered if it worked okay from anything other than main memory.

I've tried just about everything :) I use PDAs for writing novels on while I'm travelling. Over the years its been Psion Revos or 5Mxs, Sony Clies with Decuma and now the X50v.

I have to say that the combination of Calligrapher (www.phatware.com) and the new ROM update is delivering exceptional performance. Even with my appalling handwriting.

When I have a bit of desk space I use a cheap-as-chips IR keyboard that cost me £20.

Mark.
