In theory, you should be able to delete temp files; however, you really have to be careful what you delete. I did that once and ended up having to do a hard reset. Unless you know exactly what you're doing, I'd delete them using a utility or app (e.g., MemMaid, Tools option in PIE, etc.) If you really want to try deleting them yourself, I'd do a backup first.
Here is my theory. Please tell me if it is ok to delete temp files also because my rule is if I don' know what the file is, don't get rid of it!!! LOL! So I have a lot of files on my comp and my axim lol

It certainly is OK to delete temp file or else your whole system will get bogged down. You just have to find the right way to delete them! :approve:
Well my opinion is to delete any junk like Temp file's,Cache, etc usually Temp files are created by window's when installing programs, but are usually not needed after installation, but before you delete it is a good idea to backup system before hand:approve:

thanks guys, can i just ask if u back up your memory does this back up the memmory on ur sd and cf card?
The files on your card are permanent until you change them so they wont change. what you will back up is your system files, and you can save it to one of your cards, in the event something goes wrong you can restore back to your original configuration. There is a backup utility built in on your axim, that allows you to choose where to store your backup such as BIS,SD,Cf card. Its sought of like system restore that is found in Window's ME and XP.:approve:
