Can anyone tell me how to access the 8 digit unique device ID (not the device ID assigned at start-up Pocket_PC). Supposedly there is a unique 8 digit device ID that exists even after a hard reset. I was told you could access it in the registry with RESCO RegEdit, but I can't seem to find it.

why do you need it?

anyways, you can look on the back of the device under the battery for different unique ids like the service tag and also i think there is a serial number and one other 8 digit number :)

You can change it there.
