I have a company provided Laptop that has Windows NT as the OS. NT does not support a USB connection and I am at a loss. I have spent Hours on the phone with Dell trying to find a fix and all they will tell me is they are aware of the problem and a fix is being developed with no expected date. I have searched for a USB to Serial port adapter but have had no luck. I love this new AXIM but I dont know what to do. Anyone else had this problem? Any Ideas?

You're kind of stuck until a serial cable comes out. I have read on the Dell boards that they are working on one right now as I'm sure many other manufacturers are. There is a HUGE market there for this cable so I'm sure someone will come out with one soon. Until then you are kind of out of luck.

Does your laptop have an Infrared port? You could sync using that method. If not, you might want to sync through a network card... you have a network card in the laptop? Just some ideas worth looking at, perhaps. Good luck. All Axim materials never suggested they had a serial port capability, however, the book they ship with the unit shows a serial connection alternative that can't be used as of this writing.

Good luck...
