I think your best bet is to download them and try them for yourself. Only YOU can decide the features YOU like. One person's junk is another person's treasure! Personally, I use GSPlayer and listen to streaming audio over ShoutCast.com. Works well.

The playback and streaming routines are the same anyway. OK, MortPlayer 3.2 is slightly outdated currently because it still uses the routines of GSPlayer 2.15, but the only big difference is the plugin support (currently only for MIDI) anyway...
The big difference is "only" in the interface. Here, it's just a matter of taste. GSPlayer is "lean and mean", MortPlayer offers a lot more options and features, but of course more options might cause more confusion, and it needs some more memory and CPU usage...

I have not tried either one, but I do play streaming audio on my computer, didn't know you could on a PDA! Also, I hate to ask stupid questions, but is there a MIDI player for the pocket pc?

Thanks

I personally prefer GSPlayer. Works great. I just sit my Axim down and connect it to some nice big speakers.

GSPlayer supports a MIDI PlugIn since its recent version (2.21).
MortPlayer will migrate to this new playback routines in an upcoming version, which I hope to release at the end of the month. (Actually, there's already an inofficial beta playing MIDIs, but I want to add some other things, too...)
