join office workgroup

Hi guys,

I want to use my axim x50 to access my office workgroup to share files and printer... how could i accomplish this ? is it i need to get extra software again ?

i tried to use the terminal feature but it doesn't seem to work..

please advise.

oh yeah.. i copied mpg file to my ppc but it can not be played by using wmp 10 ? why is that so .. =(

please advise.

Printing to networked printers is supported by the HP software. Check the Printing from a PPC over WiFi section of the WiFi Guide. The software described was written by HP and only works with some of their printers, a few Epson and a few Canon models.

You can access network shares with the built-in file explorer but that will only allow you to copy files to your PPC. To map a drive and use them 'in place' you'll need additional software. This is described in the Networking your Pocket PC section of the WiFi Guide.

I'm afraid I cannot help with the music problem.

WMP does not play mpg files. Try Betaplayer.
