Just a quick question,

In reviews I have seen the X30 displaying websites via its 802.11b Capabilities. The websites themselves are scaled down versions of the real thing. Does this mean that I can only view websites on it that have a scaled down version?

Also, can the wireless connection only be used for web page browsing or can it also send and receive data (like images) to other places and browse network drives?

With Pocket IE on X30 you have three selectable web viewing options: "One Column", "Default", or "Desktop". The One Column is great for viewing discussion forums. You can see full size web pages in this mode, but items get cut off and the text gets reformatted (some times it OK, but other times you need to go Desktop mode).

When you want to see the full desktop version of a web page, you select desktop. However, there is typically a good bit of scrolling required (via stylus/scroll bar or button) to see everything on a given web page. The Win Mobile 2003SE landscape feature helps some times, but other times you must scroll away. In addition, Full web pages that require desktop mode generally seem to load a good bit slower than web pages optimized for PPC.

In regards to send/receive data, have no experience with this.
