How do you successfully sync music files?

Help again.
Whenever I try to sync my legally downloaded MP3 music files from WMP 10 to my Axim X50, I get a message on the PDA that the licences are corrupt. Is this a WMP problem, a Dell problem with licensing or (probably the case) an incompetent operator?

Are you using WMP desktop to sync them? I found if the music files have a license I had to use the desktop to sync them and not just copy to a folder or SD card.

this licensing thing sounds really anoying, can't you just leave a copy of the mp3 w/ license and rip the license out for the pda copy? so you have a legal copy on your desktop (where its REALLY ment to be and you have a *mobile* version) its better to have a lower quality mp3 on your pda to save space as well, you will not hear the diffrence

The error message seems to question whether the Axim's version of Windows Media player is Digital Rights Management compliant. Does anyone know whether the Axim X50v is compliant or not?
