Thanks for the link. That looks like exactly what I need. Sorry about having to post a question that has already been asked. Trust me, I have been using the search feature like a madman, but there is just so much information here I was having a hard time differentiating between what recommended programs were truly freeware and not.

No problem with me, this forum is there on this purpose. But as I told you, some people can get angry very quickly

If you don't mind my asking, how LONG did you wait on DELL to get your new axim to you? my new x50v was supposed to ship out today, but I received an "order delayed" e-mail yesterday evening. I immediately started TRYING to get an answer on the reason for the delay--no such luck. is this normal with DELL? promise quick service, then delay.....or maybe they dropped mine and had to start over....frustrating.... I'm so happy for you though. please continue to post, so I can learn the tricks and pitfalls from you that have gone before.... :approve:

Lostokie,
I ordered mine on the 25th, it shipped the 27th and it arrived the night of the 29th two days before the estimated delivery date.
As far as delays go I did order my case from cases.com and it is still not here, got an email confirmation yesterday saying it was shipped. Got two 1 gig SD cards fro ecost and both of those arrived the 30th and my FM modulator from crutchfield arrived the 29th as well. I have been very please with everyone but cases.com so far.
I will keep you up to date on an new pitfalls I run into.

Just to keep everyone posted on how things are going.
I currently have the following installed.
-pocket plus
-se_VGA
-morphgear
-mortplayer
-e-sword
-pocket mechanic
-Patience Solitaire Suite
I have had to do one hard reset to fix activesync not working and to remove some of the freeware that I was not using. Things are running great right now. I also habe about 80mb of MP3's on my SD card which I am using an FM modulator to play in my car, I am very happy with that as well. Last thing I need to find is something to update the calender and tasks. I have seen alot of people recommending tasks plus, is there anything else you guys use?
