Question how should I remove cards

When is the best time to remove the CF card. If my AX power is off, it will turn on byitself when I pull out the card. I am ussure about removing it with the power on (a no no with my digital camera) will this hurt any thing? Also the same with my SD card.

well I'm not sure what it says in the manual but I just swap my cards whenever they are not being used, since it will turn on anyway like you said, however I have most of my programs on the SD card so I rarely ever take that card out.

Treat it like a card reader

I treat mine like a flash memory card reader - no removal if being used. Since I put most of my installed programs on the SD card, make sure you're not running anything if you yank it.
