What is the deal with wi-fi, bluetooth, and cell phones?

Ok .. these are newbie questions from someone who has owned an axim for about 2 years. There was no option for wifi, blue tooth or anything else when I bought mine. I live in a rural area that I doubt has many wifi spots. Since dell doesn't have a cell phone version of the axim .. what are my options for internet access on one? Is there the option to have a blue tooth enabled phone that would "pass" internet to your axim? Please educate me. I am holding out as long as possible before my next PDA purchase .. it looks like things are going to get real exciting in the next few years.

Many Bluetooth enabled phones have the ability to send the internet connection to a Laptop / PDA with Bluetooth (Axim included). It's not incredibly fast, and phone companies often charge an unfun price for it, but it works. That is assuming that your phone company has cell phone internet access and whatnot.

I don't know any specific phones though. I have seen guides to doing this around, probably on this very site.

Here are an excellent site to get a grasp of what it really does.
Wifi Connection:

GPRS (talks a bit about bluetooth)
http://www.gprshelp.co.uk/html/GPRSArchitecture.html

I personally, have set up my axim to work on both WiFi (at home, work and few non-secure network) and GPRS via Bluetooth on my SE T610 (when I am on the road).

The GPRS is difficult to set up, but as long as you know your settings, and a simple guide. There should be no problem getting it running.
