Is there a program that will allow You to turn off the Axim by
just tapping the screen instead of using the on/off button ?
Or any utility package that might contain such a program ? <_<

I use PowerOff by Scott Seligman. All you do is put the executable or a shortcut into your Startup folder, and it will put a small Icon on your screen in the lower right (looks like a lightbulb). Tap it, and voila!!! Axim off. :D

I just found a copy of poweroff at http://www.pdagold.com/software_old/ppc/21...plicationID=871

otherwise just do a search on google for "poweroff scott seligman" and you will find it.

I downloaded the MIPs file from http://www.pdagold.com/software_old/ppc/21...plicationID=871,

it actually turned out to be a zip file that contained the mips, sh3 and arm version of the program. The ARM version is the one I transferred over to the Axim. Just drop it into the windows\startup folder and it will launch automatically the next time you power off and back on.

I use Shutdown (Windows XP Style) available at PocketGear. It's freeware and pops up a window that looks just like the WinXP shutdown window, allowing you to shutdown or soft reset. Download it and just drop it into your Start Menu folder on your Axim. Looks great, works great.
