That is perhaps the most comprehensive and excellent looking MyPDA that I've seen. What a resource!

PS....This should be a help to the newbies. :)
Very impressive! I was wondering if the Windows XP look of your axim screen is the result of using iLauncher?? I would like to create something similar as an interface since I am now "used to" XP .... may as well keep things consistent!

TIA :)

Hi David,

I use 3 of SBSH's software. PocketWeather, iLauncher, and PocketBreeze, but it is none of these that allow me to skin my today screen. That program is called Wisbar Advance 2 and comes from Lakeridge Software. It is relatively inexpensive and is a wonderful software. The developer is right on top of things and the support is A1. I also have a link to it in the commercial software section of View MyPDA. There is a trial you can try out first to see if you like it.

If you do get it David, let me know and I will be happy to send you the WinXP Silver skin and the background if you like. It is mine and I don't have it posted anywhere as of yet.

Nice, but PocketBreeze, ContactBreeze, iLauncher, and WisBar Advance?

Isn't that a lot of programs, just to get a custom look? (see my icon to the left) My today screen is plain Jane. But I do a lot of the same things on it as you do. To each his own.

Enjoy your PDA, that's all that matters.

Mike

Wisbar Advance 2 is really the only one that gives the custom look. The others are all informational today plugins. Pocket Weather explains itself. iLauncher allows me to have launch icons in different tabs on the today screen. And PocketBreeze allows me to view and change all my pim data on the today screen without having to open the pim's. I have a use for each of these programs and they are very helpful to me.

If you really meant "To each his own" at the end of your post, you would not have said what you did prior to that. I don't care how many or how few programs others have or how they customize their own PPC. You obviously do. Besides, I wasn't asking for a critique on how my Axim looked, I was asking what people thought of how I had "View MyPDA" set up.
Cry a river dude. I obviously care how many programs others have?
Look, YOU are the one with the LOOK AT ME post about their PDA. not me. YOU post all this about what you have. You are all over, thanking everyone who says, wow, you're cool. But the first time someone says anything negative you post this obviously defensive post about "I wasn't asking for a critique." Sure you were, otherwise you wouldn't have posted this thread.

IMHO Rob was simply doing others a service of demonstrating two things: a well organized (and therefore potentially more helpful to others) MyPDA section and the sort of results one can achieve with regard to customizing an instrument that is used daily and is often seen by others (this could be helpful in many situations such as those involving business contacts...though perhaps in subtle ways) I found his posting to be very illuminating since I am also interested in "pushing the envelope" of what one can do with PDAs....

I do not understand the apparent animosity that has developed in this thread...IMHO it is really inappropriate......Frankly I believe it needs to stop but that is simply the opinion of one who values harmony over discord and mutual respect over needs to attack one another.....etc....
