Hello,

I am actually getting fairly frustrated with a feature on the dell x50. The thing that's causing me problem is the Connection bubble continues to keep popping up when I am not connected to a network.

What frustrates me the most is that when I am watching a movie/tv show it pop ups interrupting the show asking to configure a dial up connection. I can't seem to find any information on it here on how to turn it off. So i thought, I am probably not the only one with this problem. But if any of you have a solutions for this, it would be greatly appreciated.


btw, my wifi and bt is turn off.

Check to make sure you did not tell it to "check for email every x minnutes" when you set up your email. This can cause it to try and connect (to check for email just like you told it to do) but because there is no wi-fi connection you get the pop up. Good Luck~
