Cradle voltage

OK- this may seem an odd question, but here goes...I got the cradle for my x3i- but it didn't come with an adapter. So, I promptly ran to wally world and purchased a universal adapter...now- which voltage should I use? There are several choices- 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5 I don't want to overjuice this thing and do damage. Thanks! ~Anne

alls i have is a x30h not a x3i,

it sayz on the ac adapter it output 5.4V @ 2410mA 50-60 Hz

and then i guess you got to be carefull about the polarity (-,+).

Don't go over 5.4 Volts. If your choices are 5 or 6, go with 5.

Your real problem is gonna be the MA (2410ma is almost 2.5 AMPS). I highly doubt any wall wart from Wally World is gonna come anywhere near that. Lower will still work but it's gonna take forever to charge your Axim.

Radio Shack used to have some that were pretty close, you might check with them. Take the above specs with you and hope against hope that you can get a salesperson who doesn't leave you with more questions than you walked in with.

That would explain the slower charge! Had been using one from my old ipaq- thought it was the same- sold the ipaq and realized it wasn't. Used the uni adaptor, and works- just Notibly slower. thanks.
