I have a Dell Axim X50V. I've removed a program that was too memory demanding and done a soft reset but a generic program icon still appears in the program menu. Selecting it does nothing as there are no files to find. How can I remove this icon permanently?

Open Explorer and navigate to:

Windows > Start Menu > Program Folder > Find the offending .lnk file > Tap& Hold > Select Delete

Thanks Mr Klaatu,
I was not able to see the file through my Axim but using ActiveSync and exploring through my PC I was able to find it. :approve:

To see certain files on the aximsite you have to do this:

1. open file explorer.
2. tap and hold on any white part of the screen.
3. Select view hidden files
