How can I send & receive mail? MSN

I'm headed for SE Asia for 3 months. I only want to take my Axim. I can borrow a laptop for syncing while there. I need to know several things:

1. Can my Axim send and receive e-mail WITHOUT any other computer - that is, no syncing? I thought it could - that is why I bought it. :) Am I wrong?

2. I subscribed to MSN as I was told Aol would not work. (I loaded Aol for Pocket PC, and it did not work!) Yesterday, I talked with Dell and the technician told me I could put in the incoming and outgoing servers and access my Aol without having the Aol Pocket PC program. I called Aol to find out what the name of the incoming server and outgoing mail server were and the technician did not know. Is this possible or not? Anyone know?

3. I've changed to MSN so my Dell Axim can get my mail. I've had a time finding anyone who accurately knows what to fill in the 5 pages of questions. For example, my incoming server is? pop3.email.msn.com? My Outgoing mailserver is re.smtp.email.msn.com? Does anyone know if these server names are correct? Does anyone have an Ax that is sending and downloading mail? (dumb question!) Having to sync with my laptop (which I am not taking on the trip) is not my idea of portability. :exc: Please help!
