How to sync some folder contents in Outlook

I can get ActiveSync to get me a local copy of my Inbox contents easily enough (well, more or less).

Thing is, tho, I try NOT to leave important stuff in my Inbox, because it scrolls. I'd like to be able to designate some of my Personal Folders to sync over to the Axim.

Any way to do that?

in active sync, goto options and then find inbox and hit settings. You can then check which folders it will sync with.

I have a "save" folder that I keep important stuff in and it syncs with no problems.

Ah, but I think that only works for subfolders under Inbox - I don't think i can get that to work for stuff stored in a personal folder on the laptop hard disk.

That doesn't help me - most of this stuff that I wanna sync CAN'T stay in Inbox, since I'm very size-constrained there. (My personal folders, however, can be as big as I want.)

Hmm

I have not been able to sync an Outlook Personal Folder through active sync. But as a workaround I have been able to sync the *.pst file using the files sync properites.

Tools\Options\

Select Files

Then select settings and map the *.pst location.

This does not solve your problem for viewing on your handheld, but would solve it for viewing at home. (Assuming you point Outlook to the *.pst file location on your home computer.)
