Ssoft reset
My unit seems to be auto soft resetting when removed from the cradle. IS there smoe way of turn this on or off? I did try to perform the A02 upgrade which did not work. Did the back up, ran the download file then double clicked on the file called "setup". All that happens is an error message that states tp make sure that the unit is sync'd to the computer, press OK. I have attached a copy of the error.jpg. Not sure where to go from here. I was following the instructions from the Dell site and did perform the hard reset and know everything is messed up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

Soft reset
Tried the second setup file, but it tells me it won't work with the CPU. See attached. I use Win 98SE on a Celeron 400 with 320 MB RAM. Using Active Sync 3.6. Everything does work excellent until this small problem.

When did you get it??
If it's a a newer one you may have it installed already.
Check the install instructions so you can tell what you have.
