Calendar Problems

I just received my Axim and am attempting to sync the Calendar events from Outlook. However, when the events sync to the Axim, they show up an entire day early on the Axim. In other words, an event entered on my computer for April 23 appears on April 22 on the Axim.

Anyone got any clues? Yes, I've checked to make sure that the device and computer have the same regional settings.

Any help would be appreciated!

initial thought

My initial thought is that the date on either your machine or Axim is set incorrectly. I'll look into it some, though, and see what I can replicate.

Check out your time sones settings as well.

If your time zone is off by, say 12 hours, one unit can be one day behind (or 1/2 a day...whatever...)

FYI: The axim syncs its clock too when it syncs with the pc. I just tried this simple experiment. change the time on Axim, e.g. set it back 10 mins and then sync PC<->axim, you'll see that the axim clock updates and changes to the PC time.

That's true if the option is checked on the PC ActiveSync (immediately below the 'information type' box on the Options/Sync Options tab). By default I believe it is checked, but it's an easy thing to look for when you are having time problems
