Reminders?

I am relatively new to the Axim (about 3 months) and have a quick question. On my old Ipaq when you set a reminder through a calendar entry or task entry the reminder would come up no matter whether the Ipaq was powered up or not. On the Axim they seem to only come up after the Axim is powered up. I need them to remind me in both situations. Does anyone know if there is a settign I can change or is this just not available with the Axim?

It does actually turn on and sound a reminder, but the alarm isn't very loud. The axim also flashes the power button light as a reminder.

Test it by setting an appointment with a 5 min reminder then shut it off and watch it.

Yes, the reminder does power up the Axim if it's not already powered up. That's the good news.

The bad news is that it somehow disables the power saver options you've set to turn the Axim off after x number of minutes. This will run down your battery if not detected soon enough.

Solution: Don't set reminders that will pop up when you think you may not see them for a long time.
