Hi all,

I got my axim a couple of weeks ago and everything worked fine with setting it up, synching with pc thourgh USB and thourgh IR, beaming files, syncing outlook with yahoo and then to the PC, downloading and running programs, etc... it was great all until yesterday!
I think something happened while trying to sync using infra red where I accidently moved the AXIM. Now I am not able to syn any more. I can still IR beam files back and forth. I already used that to copy the backed up file from axim to laptop.
I tried so many things to get things running normally again: soft reset, hard reset, uninstalling active synch and reinstalling, removing the axim from hardwre->devicemanager, rebooting laptop, etc ... but things are not working anymore! I am starting to get real frustrated now, especially that I have important meetings coming up :(

If all fails I will copy the backup file from laptop to axim and just use axim as a stand alone these coming weeks.

The error that I am getting is basically that when I choose activesync->file->get connected (...checking com ports, USB and IR), I get "Your device was not detected" although it says COM1 and 4, USB, and IR are allavailable.

please any ideas!?
