A whole bunch of questions on 50v !!!

1/ How often do you "soft reset" ? since I install Movian Client and Battery Time, my system crashes more often. Today, I count at least 3 4 times that I "soft reset" it. and Is it OK to do that ?

3/ How often do you turn it on and off? I think I turn it on/off 3 4 times every hour. Is it OK to do so ?

3/ Is there anyway to charge the PPC w/o bringing the cradle? I use this PPC to surf web, type documents, so I tend to use it more than 4 5 hrs a day ( and most of the time w/ wifi and bluetooth on ). So I just wanna know if there's any alternative solution to charge since the cradle is not convinient to carry.

4/ How does it affect the touch screen if I put my PPC in a "not stable environment". I run, walk, jump, sometimes, lie on my backpack ( with my PPC inside ) .....

That's all I have so far. Thank you for your help .... :)

softreset , from once a day to several times a day is fine, think of it as the 3 finger Salute on your favorite OS. as far as being ok,
it really up to you. i wouldn't stand for it, i would uninstall movian, it has a conflict with another application...

turnning the pda off and on, has no ill effects.

alternate ways of powering unit, please look into BoxWave very kewl, and yes i bought a kit...

lastly , yep you need a case, prolly one of them metal ones, since
your so active.

i typically soft reset once every couple of days on average - if nothing else, it clears out the memory raelly nicely. i also find that if i'm wi-fi-ing i'm more likely to need to soft reset.

I soft reset at least once a day just to clear out memory. No problems with 3-4 times a day; however, if possible, you might want to consider software alternatives just for the sake of your own sanity. ;)

I power off when I'm not using it. However, it's always "ON" when sitting in my cradle. Keep in mind that even when you power off, the device is not really off but in a sleep mode. That's what keeps the alarms, notifications, etc. active.

You can just unplug the AC adapter and cable from the cradle to bring with you. You will also need the little the charging adapter. Alternatively, you can purchase a spare charger.

I wouldn't worry too much about that as long as you have a good case.
