I have got this installed on my SD card as well, not built in storage!
You've got what installed on your SD? CAB installer or BatteryTime?
You have to have BatteryTime installed in your RAM (Default install location). Otherwise it will not work. After you install BatteryTime, you have to soft reset (use your stylus to push the little hole on the back of the Axim). This should be all you have to do to make BatteryTime work if I remember correctly. Make sure this is how you have tried it so far.

Thansk for sharing this. I was working on the exact same thing today and before posting and put too much work on it I did a search and found your thread. Great minds think alike :approve:

Thanks for the support from all of you that this thread has helped! Now all we need is for this thread to get "STICKY" status so that it won't get buried easily... =)
I'll continue to update it as I have many times so far whenever there is a need. Feel free to keep up your suggestions on great applications for this thread.

excellent info thanks, however the wifi radar link isnt working.
THANKS for the catch there. I think sometimes my copy/paste does not stick well with this system using URLs. Anyway, the link works now.

Also now you can see an important UPDATE in the list. Macromedia Flash Player PPC is no longer a free download! Crazy. Way to expand their user baseline eh? They now charge a price very similar to free (if you're Bill Gates) of $499!!!!
Check out my update on the list to see the rest of the info.
No problem! Today I added the non-VGA shutdown link and also added RED text so that viewers can easily skim the list without having to read everything to see the good stuff quickly.

I found my Dell CD that came with the Axim so that I could install the Resco Photo Viewer, but then I decided to try out XNPocketView instead. Glad I did because this is a free picture viewer/editor that seems to be better than the Resco product.
Resco can view and resize images, but XNPocket can save images in other formats, crop images, adjust brightness/contrast levels, etc. which Resco CANNOT do as far as I can tell! Plus it has the features of Resco like screen capture, photo slideshows, albums, etc. so you don't miss out on those features.
They also have similar PC versions if you like their stuff.
Wow. Thanks for doin' this. It aughta be a sticky. why didn't i read it before i got my pda?
Some folks might want to have have both viewers available. resco allows you to view converted powerpoint presentations and sync them back and forth between your pc and ppc. for larger presentations it is easier than converting each slide into a jpeg.
This is really sort stuff I have 2 questions thou gh.
1. Is it possible to get cab files for all these Instead o the zip and exe files.
2. Is sKype really free to use Or is it just free to download? (It downloaded for free but l don't think it will dial for free)
