BatteryTime doesn't appear to exist any more on the link listed in the first post. Any ideas?

I just checked out their website and downloaded the reader and lots of other books. They have over 100 bibles, so I would guess they would have what you are looking for. Check here

Worried Active Sync for axim x5

I just got this axim x5 for Christmas and I cant get it to sync with my computer it keeps giving me error messagesThe disc that came with the axim wont open on my pc screen I've tried about a dozen times. I put the axim disc in my pc disc try and it begins to run but nothing ever comes up on the screen. the directions say to first click on the yellow triangleNO yellow triangle or anything else ever comes on the screen. What am I doing wrong?I start Nursing school in 2 weeks and it was suggested that we get a PDA for quick and easy pharmacology and medical terminology reference in our clinical rotations. But so far all Ive gotton quick and easy from this device is a headache .

questions about youtube, and active sync (not related)

This is my first post so please be nice. I have really appreciated all the help I've found in the forums.

I have a X51 (no V). I have been trying to install a youtube viewer with no success. It says that I don't have the correct version of .NET installed, but I did download and install it. I also installed another program that required it.

I would really like to be able to view youtube videos. My daughter is hooked on it and we are taking two very long trips later this summer.

My other question involves active sync. Do I really need it? I am not continually syncing outlook or other organizational tasks. I have only been using it install applications. Can I instead just disable it on my PC, and use explorer to copy files over and back? Seems a lot easier to me, since I mainly just copy over ebooks and audio.

I just got the quick charger for the x51 and I'm very satisfied. The part number is ulb-050100. It claims to recharge to 85% capacity in 45 minutes, and mine was totally recharged in less time than that.

There are a few ways of sorting out youtube.
You don't mention what player you are having trouble installing, if we knew that we might be able to spot the problem.
Coreplayer will play youtube.
Youtubeplay is another.
There is a lot of information in the forums about using youtube, try a search.
I personally rarely use it on a mobile device so I've not bothered keeping up to speed on it.

As for Active sync, you generally need Active sync to make the connection for you in explorer, unless you have the advanced network functions working.
Best and fastest way of transfering files, ebooks, audio, movies etc is to use a card reader.
Just pop the card out of you Ax and into the reader and you can transfer anything you want at much higher speeds.
You can also use a program called Card Export which makes your computer see your Ax as a logical drive. It is faster than the active sync connection but not as fast as a card reader.

You can also install programs without Active sync by looking for the .cab file of the program and installing it from a card directly to the Ax.

What does (install on SD/CF/BIS memory) mean? Sorry, but I am a real, real newbie :) How do I install games and other programs without using all my memory? I have an axim x30. I am really lost. I love my PDA but I am having trouble learning the ropes. Besides replying here can anyone please email me at RosaButton@aol.com if you can. Thanks a bunch.
