My Axim 400 is working excellent when syncing to home PC (Dell Inspiron 7K) no problems what-so-ever...However, when I sync to my work computer (Compaq), everything (MS Word/Excel/My Calendar) works well except the contacts and sporatic sync hang-ups...I can not get the contacts to sync at all...When I go into option on the Auto Sync Menu, contacts are check, however (and this is stange) the "settings" box does/is/will not highlight: if I uncheck and recheck it still willl not highlight...I also tried a soft reset of my Axim and it has no affect...Problem # 2 is that after syncing the routine hangs up on my desk top and I have to "end task" manually to close.. NOTE: Never experienced either of these problems on my home PC...Both are running Windows 98SE my Home PC has every and all MS update avail on the update site (I updated the work one this morning and can now access and highligh the contacts) started to sync/showed all 68 required attention, selected resolve and it duplicated and in some instances triplicated some of the items & then delted others...I verfied that I have the same categories for the contacts on both PCs...On a positive note it did not hang up once since I performed the MS Windows update this morning...Is there anyhting, anyone can think of that would cure my problem with contacts on the work PC?..What am I missing?...Any and all advice is appreciated I am at a total loss where to go from here...Thanks
