Question How to Move "My Documents" to CF card?

I was wondering how to move the default "My Documents" folder on the Axim to the CF card. That way if the Axim crashes (only once so far ) I still have the user data saved.

Flash Format is a utility that has an 'option' to create a My Documents folder on the CF card, but the Axim does not default to that card's Folder when I'm looking for a file. Just wondering....

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think the only way to change the default is by tweaking the registry. You can change where programs install by clicking No when the "Do you want to save this to the default..." You'll then be given the choice to save the program on your SD/CF card. As for saving data in the event of a crash...back up...back up often.

You can (and should) create a "My Documents" folder on your storage cards, but the "My Documents" in main memory will still remain, and will be the default storage place for many applications, as well as the Send To -> Pocket_PC My Documents feature. There might be a registry tweak to modify that one, but a lot of your PPC applications will still use the main memory, nothing you can do about that. That's where the various backup utilities come in...
