I have connected my Axim to my home desktop running Win98. Now I would like to connect to my laptop at work running NT. Since NT does not support USB how can I sync the Axim to my NT laptop?

One option:

USB For Windows® NT® 4.0 allows you to use plug-and-play USB (Universal Serial Bus) mice, keyboards, printers, and Pocket PC cradles (HP Jornada 545/548, Compaq iPaq and the Socket Compact Flash card) on your Microsoft® Windows NT 4.0 PC. Windows NT 4.0 users, both enterprise users and consumers, can get off-the-shelf USB capability without having to upgrade their operating system, use a dual boot system, or develop device drivers. The easy-to-use USB For Windows NT 4.0 solution adds flexibility and helps people working in a Windows NT 4.0 environment realize the benefits of combining the features of Windows NT 4.0 and USB mice, keyboards, printers, and Pocket PC cradles. USB For Windows NT 4.0 does not support any other devices, or hubs that support the four devices, than the ones listed above, mice, keyboards, printers, and Pocket PC cradles.

You have several options...

First is patience.. ;) Dell has a serial cable (Since NT4 doesn't support USB) that should help, but no 'official' release date.
Second, Infrared. It's slow, but you can sync with Infrared. I do that. Sync USB at work, and Infrared at home with the laptop.
Third, Infrared to set up a partnership, and then Ethernet (Wired or wireless) after that...

Another option is to update your work computer to WIN 2000, which is really a big, fat service pack to WIN NT. And, it is much, much more stable.
