@ symbol

This sounds stupid but where is the @ symbol on the Axim. I tried to add an e-mail address today but couldn't find the symbol?

Thanks

What form of entry are you using? Here is where it is with various ones:

On-screen Keyboard: Simply hit the "Shift" key, and it will put it where the "2" was.

Block recognizer: Two ways:
1) Single-Tap on either side of entry box to enter the special character mode (It will now show a picture of a Dot in the top-left of entry box). Then, while still in this character mode, draw the same as you would to enter the letter "O". This will put the @ symbol.
2) There is a button at the bottom-right of entry box (with @ $ * on it). Hit this button, and it brings up the special character keyboard, including the @.

Letter recognizer: Two ways:
1) Draw the @ symbol in the numbers (123) section of the entry box.
2) Same as #2 for Block Recognizer above

Transcriber: Simply draw the @ symbol anywhere on the screen.

Hope this helps!!

Another way to get the @ with the keyboard is to tap the 2 and drag upwards (works with all of the shift/number keys. A tap and drag left on any key is a backspace, drag right is a space and drag down is return

:D

Only works if you have set the keyboard to "large keys" and check the box which allows the use of gestures.

I have mine set for small keys and do not have gestures checked. The following was typed without using shift or caps lock

This is a test.

In the Letter Recognizer, you can just draw the @ in the number field.

Neat trick! (and like jetdriver stated, it does also work on mine with the small keys).
