File associations

Hi

I have an Axim X30

I would like to create a file association, i.e. a file
with a particular extension is automatically run in a
specific program when clicked on. How do you do this
with Windows Mobile 2003.

If only the user interface wasn't so different!

Thanks.

In most cases, you need to go into settings/options menu of the specific app to create the association. Do you have anything specific in mind?

Yep I do. It is perl. I have managed to get it running on my Axim
but it is not associated with a .pl file. Running the perl executable
does not give me any options and just says that "starting perl with no
arguments is currently not useful on Windows CE". No really!

PocketTweak by tillansoft will let you create file associations and it's free.
