I am looking for a great condition and fully functional x50v/x51v with charger/cradle/stylus, etc...everything that I need to get a working PDA for work.
I am willing to buy, but also can trade if the trade is fair.
I have an Acer Aspire 5515 laptop PC (fully restored to factory settings) as well as an iPod 16GB black in color...bought about 45 days ago new.
I have an x51v w/low glare screen protector (never used without one), a cradle, a bunch of cases (the magnesium one, the expensive leather one, a mid priced leather one, the original, a clear plastic one, another clear plastic one with the back cut out to fit the 2200 bat and a cheap aluminum one also cut out to fit the 2200), (2) 2200 bats, the standard bat, a car charger/speaker amplifier thing and a bluetooth gps (737 model-works great but the battery is puffy from exposure to heat-I was not ready for the heat here in sacramento last summer and left it in the car). It was used mainly as a vid player for my son at church and as a gps navigator. It was never used as it should have been as I ended up going smartphone, never dropped or abused. I am really using the gps though as I am still getting used to sacramento so I am not sure if I want to do it, at the same time I really need a laptop since my old one died. What are your lappys specs?
Jerry
p.s. I stopped using it for a long time so it has only had and has the last dell updated rom (like 12 or 15, can't remember).
p.p.s. I have been checking out the 5515, it looks like it may be a little thinner than most of these massive low priced laptops I have been seeing which makes me more interested. How is everything, got the adapter, is the battery bad or is the laptop 100%.

I want to make sure that the Axim is not with a "puffy" battery, only the GPS correct? The GPS I don't need, I am interested in the Axim.

There is nothing wrong with the laptop, the charger is included, and the battery holds like it did when I bought it. It lasts a few hours depending on what you're doing (like most other laptops).
I just did a complete restore to factory settings as well.

Can I get the specs on that iPod? I may be willing to buy it off of you, Dave.

yeah it is just the gps battery that is puffy, I'm from LA so I can be a little paranoid about thieves and losing a $60 gps (if they could even figure out what it was) or my pda was kind of a no brainer so I would leave the gps in the car but not the axim. All 3 axim batteries are prefect.
Alright, I am in, how do you want to do this?

Got the laptop yesterday, everything is working great, well as great as can be with vista. There was a trojan but I took care of that, got rid of the bloatware and everything seems to be working great. BTW, this was the best packed anything I have ever received. I hope the axim is doing everything you need it to do with flying colors, you had mentioned it was for work so I assumed you need to run something fairly intensive. Thanks again this is just what I needed especially since I am out of work and looking for a new gig that will require a laptop.:approve:
Trojan? It just had a fresh install from the restore disk...there shouldn't have been anything there ?
Either way, glad you are happy :)
The axim is running fine, only thing is that the internal battery "capacitor" is completely useless.
The warning pop-up that happens very often is irritating, and resetting the date & time on every battery change..... but what can you do.
All else is fine :)
Already left +1 iTrader rating for you, please do the same :)

On the cf card I sent I left an app for that problem exactly. Some guy here at mobility site came up with a little proggy that sits next to the wifi icon on the bottom of the screen that you hit before changing the bat that will correct the date and time on boot up so you don't have to mess with it.
