Bought this on ebay almost three weeks ago and finally got it today, at the time i thought it was a good idea to buy two to save on shipping, ended up paying double costom(which cost me another 20 bucks)
I just installed the driver and pop the card in, i worked instantly on my axim. This is the exact same card as the more expensive first generation
socket card, and it's extremely hard to get one of these at a reasonable price. It's great at conserving power, and i can confirm that, my old prism 2 card finished the entire axim standard battery in one hour, with the new card by battery is at 89% after half an hour. You do the math. It also has much better signal reception compare to my old card. This is the only wifi compact flash card that does WPA (Wifi Protected Access), which provides much higher security compare to wep.
Anyhow i will let one go for $45 if want to do a local pick (North York, Ontario Canada). I can also ship it to Canada, US and other locations upon request but you pay for ACTUAL shipping cost(which means around 5 bucks
), just pm me, i will give you an estimate. I can also throw in a compactflash/pcmica adapter for 10 bucks, so you can use this great card in laptops as well. Oh, and you will also get a complementary gmail invite!
