Try
Tony Hawk 3. You won't regret it.
As for shooting games, I wouldn't advice you any first person shooters. There's a port of
Duken Nukem 3D wich is kinda good though. Try
Medal of Honor: Infiltrator. It has a top-down view, but as far as action games in the GBA go, it's the best there is.
Max Payne shouldn't dissapoint you eighter: it's the best third person action game fully in 3D for the gba I've played.
Another action game I really liked where
Gunstars Super Heroes. You get to shoot a huge lot in that game... I would say it's more of an action-platformer... perhaps you remember it from the Genesis times...
As for Mario platformers.... Well, there's
Mario World, to me, that's as good as Mario has ever gotten... The second
Crash Bandicoot (N traced) is pretty good, if you can get past Crash's Mickey Mouse wannabe voice. The
Sonic games are pretty good too. You might want to try
Rayman 3 as well.
The 3
Donkey Kong Country's for GBA are the very same than the ones for SNES. I remember enjoying the 2nd one a real lot back then...
Some other rrrrreally cool gba games are:
Both of the
Metroid games.
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance.
Are you into RPGs?
By the way, I have an spare GBA Flash cart. It's a 64Mb one (512MB Flash2Advance Ultra, best there is), it holds about 5 to 10 games at the same time. If anyone is interested, just PM me.
