[Doubts] Philips or Zen?
Hello!
I'm interested in buying an mp3 player. The thing is, I don't know wich one to choose! The PHILIPS SA3245/02 4GB or the CREATIVE LABS ZEN 4GB Can you guys please post your suggestions here? Which one would you choose? Thanks already & Bye

Welcome to Aximsite
![]() I'd also go for the Zen (indeed, I did!): however, I would recommend that you go for a bigger player. My 4GB is just not big enough for all of my music library.

The only down-side to the ZEN's use of external memory is that they aren't designed where the content on the card is integrated with the content on the internal memory of the player. This is a convenient feature for other players, such as most Sandisk players, or the Cowon D2. What this means is you'll have a sortable library on the ZEN's LCD for music on it's internal flash memory, then you'll have to access a separate menu on its' GUI for whatever content in on the card. You can't create playlists for music that's on both memory sources, and you have a limited number of sorting options for music that's on the card. But if you can work around those limitations (many owners have), you'll have a solid little player with a large capacity for music, videos, photos, etc. I'd still recommend the ZEN over the GoGear.....
