Just got my psp yesterday with RR - best graphics and controlls on a mobile gaming device that I've used. really like the joystick control! great placemet and control. The no-slip covering and very smoothe action is just about perfect. Response and return to center allows control without my thumb cramping up.

I have NFSUR and RR. I like them both. RR is more arcade birght pretty graphics and cool drifting.

NFSUR has real cars, tuning and drag, it also looks good and the driving is very different.

RR is alot nicer but NFSUR is a good game

I bought both when I got my PSP and I have been playing RR nonstop I haven't even glanced at the NFS game yet. RR is great and it brings back some memories of when I first got my PS1

I happen to have Need for Speed Underground for Gamecube and it's an excellent game. I'm sure that it's just as excellent on the PSP.

I've never played Ridge Racer on any platform, but from what I've heard, it's an excellent game.

So does Ridge Racer give the feeling of speed? If possible compared to burnout 3 ps2.

I've been wondering this too. Sadly, I don't have Burnout 3 for PS2 yet. I'm probably going to buy it soon. I have Burnout 2, though. It doesn't really give the feeling of speed, though. It's just fun.

Even though I've never played it, I've heard that Ridge Racer is an excellent game. I think that you can count on Namco to make a good game like this. Namco has made so many excellent games in the past that I don't think that they'll let you down with Ridge Racer.

Drifting a tight corner at 160 mph in Ridge Racer is one of the most exciting things I've done on a handheld

I was thinking about this game as well. Is it some type of futuristic racing game or is it more of a realistic racing game. I would be interest in both. PureWipeout reminds of that futuristic racing game for N64 like G something.

I guess i am in the minority here. I dont like it that much. I played it a few times and should have bought the nba. game instead. The graphics are great but the game looks cheap when you are in car view instead of road view.

well, ridge racers has always been a good game , and actually one of my favorites ( the game had some of the best graphics on the ps1 ) which at the time were very nice. i hope i'm not dissapointed! Roberto i think your refeering to Zero G or Extreme G or something with some futuristic techno name!

LoL roberto :P
Yes it was Extreme G that was it. For some reason Pure Wipeout reminds of that game. I liked that game alot so I will have to check out Pure Wipeout once I get a PSP.
