No wire,Just add something else, anything over $79 will be shipped free! Add some CD-Rs or cables for $5 or some adaptors, readers stuff you would need eventually.

Ship date shows June 8th or something like that.. I have to check that tomorrow.

Nope, there's no free shipping for air, unless it's ground shipping... Well, kinda tough, there's no bridge from the mainland to Hawaii... Maybe thru sea...

Oh, and for $80 for 512MB, I might as well get it locally and don't have to wait.

I will keep checking and will let you know if they push it further.

I can always cancel the order, plus I really don't need the stick so desperately, at least I keep the same price.. If I see somewhere else who has it for about the same price, I can cancel this and go pick up the other one.

It is very difficult to get 512 locally as well.

^I agree very difficult to find the 512mb memory sticks where I live, they only 256mb and they are like $40-$50 so paying $60 for a 512mb and waiting is the better deal for me. Also hyedipin I got the San Disk memory stick, guess I didn't read your post well enough to see you said Lexar lol, so that explains why your ship date is so much sooner then mine.

they have the Sony original memory stick duo 1gb for 99.70 at amazon but they don't have it in stock and don't know when it's coming out ! but they have the sandisk msd 1gb for 116 and they have it in stock which would you guys go for ?! considering the original is 17bucks cheaper ?!

well, i just ordered from one of the rare sites i found that had them, for 120, but its a ulta pro duo II, but it is slower than the regulars, so its probably an older one, i dont care though, as long as it works i need one soon, and im getting it in a couple days, instead of the usual one month wait all the other sites are giving right now....

UPDATE on my 512mb memory stick duo from DELL, well I decided that I didn't want to wait until August 11th for them to ship (yeah they moved it up 4 days from the 15th to the 11th) anyways so I cancelled the order on thursday and DELL sends me the cancellation notice so I check my acccount yesterday and guess what....they shipped out the memory stick to me the day I cancelled it even though it wasn't suppose to ship for another 2 months so I got it today and I'm keeping it.

Seems to me they just sent it to me sooner because I cancelled so they figured if they sent that I would still want it, maybe I should start cancelling my orders more or at least threaten too and I will get my stuff faster

They did the same thing with the 2GB SD card that I ordered from them, I just cancelled the order.

If you don't know when they will produce it, just say "We do not know" or place "backordered" label on the site.. Do not play around with your customers like that, dell!

I will still wait until 22nd, in the meantime if i find another one I will just buy and cancel this order.
