Woulld you like a Web browser? Me to!
Seems the PSP has already been messed with PSP and discovered a hidden web browser within the game Wipe out Pure.
He found the browser wipeout pure uses to go to DownLoads is a real browser , so he found where it was trying to go and used his dns servers to change it and add some hyper links.
More info here.

It would be pretty cool, and they are going to put it in the ROM update... sometime. BUt I really dont care for it much, as i have an X30 and it has touch screen and more ways of connecting to the internet (like through a phone)

I would really love a Web browser for the PSP. That was the only thing that was good about the Nokia N-gage- it was a regular Symbian OS smartphone. Thus, I bought Opera browser for Nokia Series 60 and was able to browse the web from anywhere. That was back in the day when T-Mobile still offered free unlimited internet with all of their plans... Or do they still offer it? Anyway, being an avid Axim X30 user, I often wish that I could browse the Internet from my Nintendo DS. Luckily for me, this will probably be available in July around the time that the PSP gets its web browser. However, since I don't have a PSP, I have to settle for what I have...

I dont think browsers are as important as a form of communication as they add more online features to the device.. then it needs a keyboard...

A web browser is fine for non-gaming items but I don't think you will be able to play games effectively (too bad) as the lag may be too great). Wouldn't that be cool someday when portable devices doing gaming head to head? Opp;s, for game addicts like me would that interfere with that other thing I have to do every now & then (called work?) LOL
