I agree completely, Roboto, but the PSP was rushed to the American market so some "sacrafices" were made. Obviously, quality control was one of them and that a customer should not have to absorb. The PSP cost the customer ALOT of money. 1 dead pixel is 1 dead pixel too many, IMHO.
I've had 4 Dell Axims. Not one of them with a dead pixel, although a few people have stated they have gotten a dead pixel, Dell typically replaces the unit. Well, why is it that dead pixels are out of control with the PSP from what I've been seeing and reading? *cough*Quality Control*cough*Rush to market*cough*
That's not a normal LCD issue, but an issue of sloppy manufacturing and no fault of the buyer's. Why should the customer pay $250+ for a shoddy product? The PSP in general is a great product with great potentialm but shaky manufacturing isn't ok by any means.
Again I say, if you get dead pixels, take it back from whince it came and get one that doesn't have a dead pixel. When these bum units start to flood Sony's return department maybe they'll get the hint.
