Does the UMD drive occasionally open?

I've heard that the PSP's UMD drive opens and the UMD disc comes flying out when you tilt the PSP a certain way. Does anyone here have that problem?

believe it or not, I have seen some other people complaining about that. I have even seen an animation with that. the guy is playing the racing game, and the umd just pops open and goes flying out...

better not have someone around waiting for a flying disk with a pistol.. those UMDs cost a lot!

What was happening previously was when people horribly torqued the PSP on either ends in opposite direction the latch you disengage causing the UMD to eject. You had to torque and twist it pretty violently but you know how some kids are with their things...

I believe Sony has addressed this issue and fixed it because I haven't had any issues with the UMD just ejecting... but then again, I treat gadgets with extra care anyway.

And if you saw the demo you would have seen how the guy was unnaturally twisting the PSP in two different directions to purposefully get it to eject. I'm sure I can get my CD player to eject if I torque it like that. It's user mishandling and I think the people that were doing it were doing so to try and malign the PSP.
