Just wanted to let you guys know if your having problems in this game, that's a common problem. Lots of people are experiencing this. I tweaked my router for hours and hours. =P nothing. Probably a hardware based error (hope not!) or a server-side issue.

I have not had any problems with NBA so far, I have had 0 disconnects since Friday. I have had about 5 people have timeouts against me though. I only use MAC filtering on my router, BTW it is a Belking 54g. What kind of router do you have? Do you use a WEP key? I wonder if using a WEP key makes it slower since it seems to be slower when I use a WEP key with my PDA's.

My brother has been having problems playing Twisted Metal in an online game. He can't get on. He's using a completely open access point. NO WEP, no MAC, nothing. I think it's a server problem or problem with TM's programming.

Yeah, other games seem to work fine. Does that NBA game have an infrastructure mode?

I couldnt get on to play Twisted Metal online either, and I was looking forward to testing it out.

I have only tried to play Twisted Metal online and have not been able to stay on for longer than 5 mins.

Every time I get kicked out as soon as the session start because "there was a problem with my wireless connection". Only one time was I able to actually play and then got the same error after 5 mins.

That's when I connect, if not, I just can't join any sessions and at least 90% of the hosts have a 9999 ping.

Thats kinda sad. The problems remind me of those beta tests on the PS2... get kicked.. get errors.. cant connect.. time out.. ohy thought they would have ironed out those problems with japan then give us the perfect products haha

same here. twisted is a great game but I really bought it for online play. so far thats a bust.
