I have heard there is a higher capacity one coming. One place said 3600 mAh, whatever it is I want one for a back up and better battary life.

Yeah, I really love my X30 battery from lionbattery, but that enormous extra casing pisses me off, Its just so inconvenient...

Instead of just getting a bigger battery, why not get a battery extender (Pelican makes one, I think). The one I have, which only cost 19.99, can recharge the PSP to full charge twice on a single charge of it's own. And though I haven't tried it, supposedly you can play it while the PSP battery is being charged by the extender.

Nope he really is talking about just an extended battery. I picked one up at my local funcoland today. Although I saw them at Best Buy. Costs 19.99 and is a 3600 mAh battery its pretty small about 2 1/2 inchs square and about 1/2 in thick. Might be a little bigger did not measure it or anything but it connects using a cable that looks to be about 2 feet long have yet to try it out but I was thinking of writing up a review of it once I try it out.

I think that case with built in charger is an awesome idea. However as said before it adds to the already largeness of the PSP. It may get hard to fit in the pocktes =\
