Wait the PSP in Korea gets a web browser?
According to a game spot article the PSP's in Korea will have a full functional web browser.

How does Korea get this and not us?
U.S. would use this alot I believe.

You know it says the PSP will be released in Korea in May which makes me think they expect the next version of the firmware to be ready by then. An interesting note is the firmware in Japan was only updated right before the US release to the same firmware thats on the US PSP. The only problem I see is the Network Utility UMD I am not sure whats going to be on this disk but its possible that the disk will have to be purchased in the US to enable some of the functions.

Why would they sell a ROM update? Thats stupid. They already added the functionality to download one, and if they were to sell it, people could find friends that have a psp and split the cost for the disc and just flash all the psps with that one disc, which the people barely paid anything for.

haha yeh. I doubt it will cost for a rom update. Unless they plan on releasing PIM apps on UMD like jacka**es.

I am pretty sure it will be free though. It is unlikely for a system update to be costly.
