It works fine for me, I do wish it stuck out a little more to get a better grip on it. There is already someone selling a 3rd party attachment for it so it does stick out more.

Same as OEM controller
Does anyone have an OEM controller that comes with a PS or PS2 to compare the depth. My thoughts are that Sony probably has this down to a science at this point.

Normal analog sticks are a ball that rotates in a socket the PSP uses a stick that just moves along a flat plane. I can't reallly discribe it but trust me they are totally differant. Oh and yes its useful except its so far down the body of the PSP my thumb cramps and I don't really have big hands.

I wonder why Sony didn't include a right thumbstick?

I HATE the analog stick .. it hurts my hands . I guess the positioning is pretty lame. IMO lol.

they should've switched it with the d-pad, as they should've with the ps2 and ps one, imo the ps2's controller is the most uncomfortable of the three consoles.

I haven't got to try it out, but it looks really really small i looked at a picture of it and put my hands on it, and its too far down

I also agree with ps2 controller being unconfortable. It isn't really designed yo sit in your hand very greatly, like the xbox and gamecube ones have long handgrips, the ps2 ones are too short.

I will agree with most of the reply's that state the anolog stick is in an odd place. It could have been moved up and the direction pad down since you end up using the anolog stick more often. As for function it works great. The first hour it was alittle tricky to get use to but once I did no problems.
