i have been trying to play wifi with wipe out and need for speed but have been unsuccessful...i just tried it tonight and left it there for about 10min but never connected to another game...for those of you who have been able to do this, how long did it take to find a match?

^^^ My brother and I have been having problems with Twisted Metal online that are similar to your experience. That would tell me that it's probably server side. That's something that Sony needs to address. Email them and let them know-- I'm sure they already know but let them know that paying customers need them to get it fixed pronto.

thanks..i think i will do that...i read in another forum thought that you have been able to connect with your brother...is that in the same room or you guys connection online diff places?

Sorry to bump this thread back up - but I have recently bought a psp that was running v.2.1 of the firmware. When I attempted to login to a wireless hotspot on the train my psp was unable to navigate to the access point's login page. I noticed that some of you on here had mentioned that would be fixed in a later upgrade - just wondered if this is now fixed?

I have just upgraded my firmware to v.3.11 but I am yet to try it out on a wi fi hotspot.

it must have something to do with the scripts that page is running, most likely. I don't think there was any major browser updates on the new versions, but you might want to check it out. Remember to set your connection as all DHCP and let us obtain IP address, and type any webpage see if it will show up.
