Need help with net access
I keep getting an error code 80410D09 when I try to log into my wireless router which is a MS Wireless router that only gives me the option to have one WEB key. I get 100% signal strength.

If you have MAC filtering, that is what's blocking your access.

That other thread he is directing you too can be confusing.

If you get an error, then something on the router/server end is incorrectly configured for PSP use.

Chances are, your schools wireless network is mac filtered. You could have a Billion percent signal strength and it wont matter. It could also be a static network, where you need a specific IP address on your PSP to connect.

If its MAC filtered.. then you will never be able to use that network, unless you yourself go input your PSPs mac address into the network. If its not mac filtered, and you can find UN:/PW: or Static IPs to use, then there is a possibility you can get onto the network.

Goodluck.

Note that I added another two topics into this topic, in order to combine all related posts.

Please review above all, and notice Limbo's posts.

Thanks.

Frustrated in a major way...
Just picked up the Linksys WRT54GX and I've followed the advice in this forum to no avail. I've tried setting up static ip addresses, configuring all settings manually, made sure I had the proper dns. I've gotten 100% on signal strength, I've also gotten 1%. Is there anything else anyone could suggest?

And you cannot connect using wipeout or just overall no connection?
Linksys will have the screen to show the connected workstations, check to see if PSP appears over there as connected to your router/

I just got my PSP. I am a relative noob when it comes to WiFi. I took all the recommendations that Limbo suggested. I continued to get 80110482 error message. I decided to set my router (Linksys WRT54GS) to factory defaults. I got 100% connection. So I recorded all of the IP and DNS information and inputed it in another connection. I turned WEP on again and input the key into the PSP. This time I got a connection of wopping 1%. I got 1% standing 5 ft. from the router. No matter what I've done since then I can't get anything but 1% strength. Any idea of what is causing this.

I will have to try that tonight.

Is it smoothly connecting without WEP?

Yes, the only difference between the two saved connections is one without WEP and one with WEP. But the difference is from 100% to 1%.

I would like to also add that I just updated my router's firmware to the latest release.
Same result.

Really strange, I wonder if anyone else had the WEP reduce the signal to %1
